After all CNC and EDM work is completed, your mold is polished to the specified finish level. Whether your part features a textured consumer design or requires a high-polished finish free of defects, typical of medical technologies, our finishing department will meticulously burnish and assemble your mold to meet the highest industry standards.
Once this process is finished, we use one of our in-house sampling presses to ensure the final result aligns perfectly with your creative vision.
Heat Treating
Heat treatment plays a crucial role in mold manufacturing by enhancing the performance of mold components, extending their service life, and minimizing tool wear. It also improves the mold’s mechanical properties, including hardness, wear resistance, and strength.
